Colour mood board analysis

I have used four main colours on my mood board that consist of red, blue, black and white. I have used these particular colours as these are the colours that were most popular on my questionnaire. I have used white and black on my mood board as these colours will help to give my magazine a more professional and classy look and therefore look more appealing for my target audience of teenage girls. The colours red and blue I will use on my magazine to brighten up the magazine and make it stand out more to the audience. On my mood board I have used images that would appeal to me target audience. Images of lips and flowers for example are very feminine and therefore would appeal to females which are my target audience. Images of doc martens, converse and sweets I have used to fit the teenage generation. On my front cover I have used the colours Black, blue and white for the cover lines and the title. I have used these three colours for the text as the black and white make the magazine look formal and professional whereas the blue brightens up the appearance of the magazine. The colours on my front-cover, all co-ordinate which helps improve the visual style of my magazine. In addition, on the model I have purposely used red lipstick to dress the formality of the page down and therefore make it more suitable for my target audience of teenagers. Over all three pages of my magazine, I have used the same four colours. Using the same colours throughout my magazine give it my own housesyle and uniqueness and would make my magazine more identifiable in the markets.
